Two generations, one enterprise.

1. 011952

   A dream he had to let go

   When the joint family split, the ground beneath them began to give way. Natubhai loved his books and wanted to keep studying, but at home there were empty plates and a father carrying too much alone.

   After the 11th standard he closed his books for the last time. Nobody forced him. He made the choice himself, and it was the first of many sacrifices he would make for the people he loved.

   His mornings began before sunrise, walking the family's two buffaloes out to graze. Their milk went to the Shuklatirth Seva Sahakari Mandali, and every rupee mattered. In the afternoons he sat beside his father at the wheel, shaping matkas out of wet clay.

   

Some nights there was no proper meal at all.Those nights stayed with him for the rest of his life.

1. 021970

   Twenty thousand bricks and a name

   He saved one rupee at a time. When he told his father he wanted to make bricks on his own, his father said no. He had seen how cruel the trade could be. Natubhai respected him deeply, but he believed in himself more. At just 18, he went ahead anyway.

   There were no workers and no machines that first year, only his two hands, the clay and the fire. He made 20,000 bricks by himself, sold every one, and pressed his own name into each: NHP.

   

2. 031975

   Learning to be better

   He bought land of his own and founded Shubh Laxmi Bricks. For a family that had once lost everything, it meant they had something to hold on to again.

   Wanting stronger bricks, he set his pride aside and worked six months as an ordinary employee at another brick company, learning every process. His days ran from 5 a.m. to 10 at night. By 1991 the small yard had become Surya Bricks, with three plants.

   

3. 041992

   A hotel with his parents’ names

   The boy who had once gone to bed hungry now sat at a table that was always full. He opened a hotel and named it after the two people who stood by him: Hari, from his father Harjivandas, and Mangala, from his mother Manglaben.

   Harimangla grew into one of the most respected hotels in Bharuch, Ankleshwar and the Narmada region.

   

4. 051993

   Behind the wheel

   He never wanted the family's future to rest on one business. He set up a proper management system at the brick company and started Jay Jalaram Transportation.

   He did not run it from a desk. He drove the trucks himself, through long nights on dusty highways, and built the business on what the road taught him.

   

5. 062004

   Land, soil and giving back

   Land trading became his most successful venture and let him invest deeply in Bharuch. In 2004 he took up farming, going back to the same soil he had shaped as a boy.

   The money grew, but he did not change. The boy who once went to sleep hungry became a man who quietly fed others, through donations and charity across the region.

   

6. 071980 → 2022

   The son who carried the dream further

   Amit Prajapati, born in 1980, grew up watching his father's sacrifice. He earned his B.Com from M.K. Commerce College and, in 2003–04, an MBA in Finance in London. His father had once given up his own education; now his son was studying abroad.

   He came home with a global outlook. In 2013 Harimangla partnered with Regenta to become Regenta Central Harimangla, Bharuch. In 2022 the Group opened Hyatt Place, bringing international hospitality to the city where it all began.
